Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society once again recognizes Rider for supporting transfer student success
For the 10th consecutive year, Rider University has been named to Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society's Transfer Honor Roll, recognizing colleges and universities that provide outstanding opportunities and support for community college transfer students.
Rider is one of just 275 institutions nationwide to earn the distinction for 2026. The recognition is based on the evaluation of participating universities’ admissions practices, transfer scholarships, affordability, campus life, recruitment resources and student reviews.
"Being recognized for the 10th year in a row reflects Rider's long-standing commitment to making the transfer process as seamless and supportive as possible," says Jennifer Cook, director of transfer enrollment. "We understand that every transfer student's journey is unique, and we're committed to helping them transition smoothly, feel at home and continue building toward their academic and career goals."
Rider offers guaranteed transfer agreements with numerous community colleges, personalized transfer counseling and no-obligation transfer credit evaluations to help students maximize previously earned credits. Transfer students are also eligible for generous merit scholarships, including additional scholarships for Phi Theta Kappa members.
Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is the premier honor society recognizing the academic achievement of students at associate degree-granting colleges and supporting their success as scholars and leaders.
