University ranked as a best value institution in the region

Rider University was ranked among the best colleges and universities in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in its 2026 Best Colleges list. The University ranked in the top third for best Regional Universities (North) at No. 45.
Rider was also named among the best colleges for veterans (No. 18) and best value institutions (No. 24) among regional universities in the north.
“We are always proud to see Rider recognized for its commitment to academic excellence and student support,” says Dr. Kelly Bidle, provost and senior vice president for Academic Affairs. “Accolades like this amplify Rider’s dedication to ensuring our students are ready to thrive, both academically and in their careers after graduation.”
Last month, the University was named one of the nation's best undergraduate institutions by The Princeton Review.
The U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges list serves as a guide for prospective students and their families to identify schools that align with their personal and academic goals. Nearly 1,700 colleges and universities were evaluated using up to 17 measures of academic quality for the 2026 rankings.
