Rider fully accredited

Dear Rider Community,

I am writing to share our progress on efforts to ensure Rider University’s future. Rider received confirmation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education that the University will remain fully accredited as we have made measurable progress. And, as long as that measurable progress continues, we will maintain our accreditation.

I am pleased to report that the Commission concurred with the team that we are in good standing with Standard II: Ethics and Integrity and Standard IV: Support of the Student Experience. No further action is required to demonstrate compliance with these standards.

As I had written last month, the team’s feedback regarding Standard VI: Planning, Resources and Institutional Improvement demonstrated that we still have much work to do. The Commission concurred. This is understandable and expected given how recently we implemented the March to Sustainability Plan and other key initiatives.

I am inspired by the belief in Rider so many of you continue to demonstrate each and every day and by the exciting work under way across the institution to strengthen Rider, its student experience and position Rider for an exciting future.
