After fully implementing the March to Sustainability Plan, University looks forward to Rider Reimagined
Dear Rider faculty and staff,
As the New Year approaches, I wanted to share with you this confirmation that the March to Sustainability Plan has now been fully implemented. We appreciate the support and sacrifices of so many across our campus community who have made possible this difficult but monumental step to secure Rider’s future. Through the Plan, we will now be able to create a financially stable foundation for the University in fiscal 2026 and begin pivoting toward building a Reimagined Rider.
The work toward a Reimagined Rider will be informed by your input and the continued commitment of everyone across the Rider community. Your ideas are already guiding our new direction, and I am grateful to everyone who is stepping forward to help us envision and shape the Rider that will emerge stronger from this challenging and pivotal time.
From the students, faculty, staff, alumni and parents who are propelling the "I Believe in Rider" message and so much more across our admissions and retention efforts, to the many generous friends who have contributed to the Presidential Hope Fund — which has thus far raised more than $2.1 million to support students facing sudden financial hardship — our strength lies in the support the members of this community are giving to one another and to this vital institution and its future.
Early in the new year, I will be sharing news about several important initiatives we will be taking to reposition the University in our recruitment marketplace. I look forward to sharing those announcements with you and to the conversations they will start on campus and beyond. Together, from a solid financial foundation, the Reimagined Rider we build can bring forward the best of the University for our students and community.
Sincerely,
John R. Loyack, CPA, MBA
