Live music, food trucks, campus traditions and more
by Rachel Stengel '14, '20
Now that the Broncs are back on campus this fall, Rider has a number of events to welcome the entire University community to the fall semester.
Spend time with some of your favorite Broncs before classes start and enjoy inflatables, food trucks, crafts and more!
Ever wanted to have your own radio show, become involved with student government or love to sing and perform? Broncapalooza has clubs and activities for all those interests and more. Learn more about Rider's 150+ student organizations during the annual involvement fair.
8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All Broncs know that on Wednesdays we wear cranberry to show off our Rider pride! Wear your favorite cranberry clothing and stop by the Ask Me Tent with any questions to ease your first-day jitters.
End the first week of classes with fireworks, live music, food trucks, games, entertainment and a roaring bonfire. The pre-party starts in the Pub at 5:30 p.m.
Auditions: Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Finale: Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The search for Rider’s best singer returns for its 12th season! Think you've got what it takes? Audition for a chance to move into the finale and be crowned R Factor champion. Not a singer? Watch your fellow Broncs compete in front of a live audience and a panel of judges.
Campus Mall (rain location Student Recreation Center)
Since 1979, Cranberry Fest has welcomed students back to campus each September. The event celebrates Andrew J. Rider, the University's namesake. Enjoy a free barbecue, live music, games, giveaways, beer garden (for Broncs 21+) and more!
