Men’s college basketball game to be broadcast on ESPNU on Friday

Tune in to ESPNU on Friday night at 7 p.m. to watch the Rider men’s basketball team take on Manhattan College.
The Jaspers earned an eight row winning streak before losing to Quinnipiac on anuary 9, having won two games without their star player before losing last Saturday at Fairfield.
Manhattan ranks in the top five in the nation in both free throws made and attempted and 6'7" Jasper Rhamel Brown is fifth in the nation in blocked shots.
The Broncs (9-8, 5-3 MAAC) have won two of their last three games and seven of the last 11, led by seniors Anthony Myles and Daniel Stewart. Myles is fourth in the MAAC in scoring (18.8). Stewart is 11th in the MAAC in scoring (15.4) and rebounding (6.1). Myles and Stewart are both in the top 23 all-time in Rider scoring, combining for 2,459 points.
The Broncs and Jaspers have met 41 times since the series began in 1929-30, with Rider winning 22, including 10 of the last 13. Since Rider joined the MAAC, the Broncs are 21-13 against the Jaspers, including 1-1 in post-season.
This will be the 18th time in the last three seasons that Rider has played on the ESPN family of Networks. The last time Rider was on ESPNU was February 3, 2012 at Loyola.
Rider welcomes the students back from winter break with a 4pm home game Sunday against Monmouth.
