The theme of this year’s flower show, "Brilliant!," reflects an equally luminous decision by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society to welcome the student station to the convention floor.

Rider’s University’s campus radio station, 107.7 The Bronc, WRRC-FM, is making Philadelphia broadcast history. On Saturday, March 2, 107.7 The Bronc will become the first radio station in the 184-year history of the Philadelphia Flower Show to broadcast live from this world-renowned event.
The Bronc, which takes its name from Rider’s athletics mascot, is the sole radio station broadcasting live from this year’s flower show. The theme of this year’s event is Brilliant!, and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) could not have made a more luminous choice, selecting The Bronc over many of Philadelphia’s notable commercial and college radio stations, primarily because of the station’s programming, which is complementary to the event.
107.7 The Bronc will broadcast live Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. near the east entrance to “Exhibit Hall A” of the Pennsylvania Convention Center and will feature special Flower Show editions of regular programming, such as Turf’s Up with Darren Gruner of KentuckyBlue.com, Sustainable You with Emily Mazzio and Sabrina Safran, and Inside Your Mind with Margarita Leahy and Ian Smith. Below is a complete line up of shows and times:
9 a.m. – Turf’s Up!
10 a.m. – Sustainable You
11 a.m. – Inside Your Mind
Noon – Turf’s Up!
1 p.m. – Sustainable You
“Our students are going to have an amazing ‘real-world’ experience broadcasting live from the Philadelphia Flower Show, in front of 40,000 attendees, at the largest event of its kind in the world,” said John Mozes, general manager of 107.7 The Bronc.
You can listen to The Bronc’s broadcast from the Philadelphia Flower Show on Saturday, March 2, on the air at 107.7 FM, online at www.1077TheBronc.com and via our free Android and iPhone apps when you search: WRRC.
