by Meaghan Haugh
Rider University students and their families are warmly encouraged to take part in the array of activities planned for Family Weekend 2010. The festivities will take place Friday, November 5, through Sunday, November 7, on the Lawrenceville and Princeton campuses.
Family Weekend activities include the crowning of the new Cranberry King and Queen, a Family Weekend luncheon, choir performances and basketball games.
A special highlight of Rider’s Family Weekend is the Founder's Day Program, a tradition that honors the University’s top students as Andrew J. Rider Scholars. The award, named for the University’s founder and first president, honors the top one percent of sophomores, juniors and seniors in each of Rider’s academic colleges and schools.
