Rider University's human resource management major was recently ranked as a top program in the U.S. and New Jersey by College Factual, a leading source of college data analytics and insights with a strong focus on student outcomes.
Rider earned the 20th spot among 135 ranked colleges throughout the U.S. and came in at No. 3 in New Jersey. In addition to its academic rigor, the program was noted for its early career graduates earning approximately 15 percent higher than the national average.
"This ranking reflects the great value our program offers to developing human resource professionals," says Dr. Eugene Kutcher, chair of the Department of Management. "The program is a true representation of Rider’s commitment to engaged learning, as our students have an opportunity to conduct independent research with faculty, study abroad, obtain practical experience through internships and interact with the professional HR community."
The program is housed in the University's College of Business Administration, which is among only two percent of schools worldwide to hold dual AACSB-accreditation. Students are educated from a comprehensive business perspective while specializing in the concepts and applications of human resources.
College Factual ranks programs based on five factors: graduate earning potential, depth of focus a major provides, availability of related programs, accreditation and overall school quality. College Factual aims to match students with their best college and major. It provides coverage for more than 2,500 colleges and universities and 350 majors for students in over 160 countries.
