Rider University earned a spot on the 2018 U.S. News Best Online Programs list for business, non-MBA graduate programs. Rider was ranked 55th out of more than 150 schools throughout the country, moving up four spots from its 59th place last year.
“Rider prides itself on being a vibrant learning community for its students both on campus and off,” said Gregory G. Dell’Omo, Ph.D., University president. “Rider’s online programs offer the same stellar educational experience for students as those on campus, using the same coursework and accomplished faculty.”
Rider offers an online Master of Accountancy for current professionals looking to further their careers and prepare for the CPA exam. The program was recently ranked No. 7 nationally by Accounting Degree Review. Rider’s College of Business Administration (CBA) is also among the only two percent of schools worldwide that hold dual AACSB accreditation in both accounting and business.
"We are incredibly proud of the continual recognition of Rider's online Master of Accountancy program," said Dr. Ron Cook, CBA associate dean for graduate programs. "The program's rigorous course of study and highest standards ensure that accounting professionals will be well equipped to elevate their careers.
U.S. News evaluated nearly 1,500 online programs using five factors: student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and student services. It separates graduate business programs from traditional MBA programs to allow students searching for specific degrees in business to make fair comparisons.
