Rider hosts its first Greek Life 5K Color Run/Walk

All Rider students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members are invited to participate in the first-ever Rider University Greek Life 5K Color Run/Walk on Sunday, Nov.  1. 

The Color Run/Walk is famously known as “the happiest 5K on the planet,” as participates are doused from head to toe in different colors as they pass every kilometer. In addition to getting colorful, all proceeds from the event will benefit Circle of Sisterhood, an organization whose mission is to remove educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression.

Sponsored by the Rider University Greek Council and Panhellenic Council, the run/walk will take place on the 400-meter track (located in the fields west of the main campus area in Lawrenceville). Registration begins promptly at 7 a.m. and the Color Run/Walk will start at 8 a.m.

Registration is $25 per person. Advanced registration is requested. The first 100 registrants will receive a free T-shirt. To sign-up and for more information, visit https://runsignup.com.
