Colored powder showers members of Rider community as they run for a good cause
The first-ever Rider University Greek Life 5K Color Run/Walk was held on Sunday, Nov. 1.
Members of the Rider community participated in the event, receiving a dousing of colored powder several times during the run.
The Rider University Greek Council and Panhellenic Council sponsored the run, which took place on the 400-meter track (located in the fields west of the main campus area in Lawrenceville).
All proceeds from the event will benefit Circle of Sisterhood, an organization whose mission is to remove educational barriers for girls and women facing poverty and oppression.
