Research organization Value Colleges judged programs by reputability and affordability
Rider University’s online Master of Accountancy program ranked second in New Jersey, and 32nd overall, in Value Colleges’ 2017 list of the “Top 50 Best Value Online Master's in Accounting Degrees.”
Value Colleges, an independent research organization, judged the value of the programs on three metrics, reputability, affordability and return on investment.
“These are institutions that have demonstrated, by a combination of excellence, affordability, and job-market pull, the ability to give their students a leg up in their careers,” the organization wrote in announcing the ranking, adding that inclusion on the annual list “is a testament to the quality of that investment” in Rider.
Rider’s online MAcc is an AACSB International accredited program. One of only 2% of universities worldwide to hold the prestigious AACSB accounting accreditation, Rider’s program meets the highest standards. Most full-time faculty hold doctoral degrees and are engaged in research in their fields and have business experience as well. Specifically designed for current accounting professionals, the program provides students with the additional knowledge and depth required of accounting professionals, while providing the educational requirements necessary for the CPA exam.
