Dr. Sanchez has been a member of the Rider Community since 2002. She teaches auditing at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and fraud detection and deterrence at the graduate level. She is Coordinator of the Online Masters of Accounting program. She also serves as faculty adviser to the Accounting Society.

Sanchez has been a recipient of numerous research fellowships and awards. Her research is primarily in the areas of auditing, behavioral research and forensic accounting and fraud detection, and has appeared in the Journal of Accounting Research, Accounting Review, Journal of Forensic & Investigative Accounting, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Forensic Accounting and other respected journals. She frequently presents her research at meetings of the American Accounting Association.

She is a member of the American Accounting Association, Philadelphia Electronic Crime Task Force, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Management Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Pennsylvania Society of Public Accountants.
