Rider University's Commencement is a proud day for students, families and the entire Rider University community that celebrates the achievements of the Class of 2021. Find full details about this year's ceremonies at rider.edu/commencement.
Commencement will be held on the Lawrenceville Campus in compliance with state and institutional health and safety guidelines regarding capacity, masks, social distancing, and sanitation. To meet gathering guidelines, the University will offer multiple ceremonies. Graduates will be assigned a ceremony date and time based on their degree and college/school.
- Undergraduate degree ceremonies will be held on Saturday, May 15. View ceremony schedules.
- Graduate degree ceremonies will be held during the morning of Sunday, May 16. View ceremony schedules.
- All ceremonies will be live streamed for viewing on rider.edu/commencement.
The in-person ceremony length is approximately one hour and will include a student processional, national anthem, remarks from the President and the presentation of graduates.

Commencement is a ticketed event, and only guests with tickets will be permitted on campus. Graduates do not require a ticket and each graduate will receive 2 guest tickets. There are no extra tickets. For more information, visit rider.edu/commencement.
