“When I transferred to Rider from a remote Community College, I became extremely overwhelmed when considering the limits that constrained the experiences I could possess in just two and a half years. As a student who has always had to work full-time to support herself, I initially believed that getting involved in college would be physically impossible. However, my fears soon vanished when I took advantage of Rider’s Engaged Learning program. Taking advantage of the Engaged Learning opportunities Rider offered allowed me to grow in life-changing ways. Through excelling in Scholarship and Guided Research, Internships, Co-ops and Fieldwork, and Leadership and Mentoring Engaged Learning opportunities, I was able to encompass a meaningful education that has led to the success I yield today.”
