Dr. David Dewberry, assistant professor of Communication, was named a recipient of the Franklyn S. Haiman Award for Distinguished Scholarship in Freedom of Expression by the National Communication Association.

Dr. Jack Sullivan's narrative script for 'Hitchcock!,' the first installment of the New York Philharmonic’s Art of the Score series, was read at Lincoln Center by Alec Baldwin and Sam Waterston on September 17 and 18.

Dr. Kenneth E. Marshall '91 will deliver the 21st annual Emanuel Levine History Lecture, presented by the Department of History, on October 3. Marshall's presentation is entitled "Losing It: Hearing the Silences of Black (Male) Rage Under Slavery in Eighteenth-Century New Jersey."

Bethany Eden Smith ’05 participated in the Nautilus Exploration Program headed by Dr. Robert Ballard, who is famous for discovering the underwater location of the R.M.S. Titanic in 1985.
