As part of Rider’s ongoing sesquicentennial celebration, we will bury a time capsule during University Day on April 17.
The time capsule will be located between North Hall and Moore Library on the Lawrenceville campus and will be opened during Rider’s bicentennial in 2065.
At this time, we're accepting suggestions for items to be included in the time capsule and preserved for history. For your suggestions to be considered, please contact Natalie Pollard, director of Alumni Relations, at [email protected] by April 4.
The rules:
Items must fit an opening 10-inches in diameter and inside a space 27 inches in height.
The following items cannot be considered:
- Electronics
- PVC (plastic food wrap)
- Objects made of rubber
- Name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Do you own the item being suggested? (Yes or no)
- If so, would you be willing to donate the item? (Yes or no)
If your item is selected, the Office of Alumni Relations will contact you.
University Day will also include fireworks, live music, food trucks, a book signing celebrating Rider's rich history and a reception to honor President Mordechai Rozanski, who will retire in July.
