You become the chorus to sing through major choral works led by Westminster's summer faculty.
You become the chorus at the Summer Community Sing Ins presented by Westminster Choir College of Rider University in June and July. Bring your own score or borrow one from the Choir College to read through a major choral work conducted by a member of Westminster’s summer faculty. All events are held at 7:30 p.m. in Bristol Chapel on the campus of Westminster Choir College of Rider University in Princeton.
Tuesday, June 25 Giselle Wyers will conduct Mozart’s Requiem in D Minor. Dr. Wyers is associate professor of Choral Studies and Voice at the University of Washington, where she conducts the University Chorale and teaches courses in choral conducting and voice.
Ryan Brandau, artistic director of Princeton Pro Music, will conduct the Community Sing In on Tuesday, July 16.
Tom Shelton, a member of the Westminster Choir College Sacred Music faculty, will conduct Vivaldi's Gloria and Haydn's Missa brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo in B-flat Major on Tuesday, July 30.
