Example of the news intro field, with a larger font as styled by the theme. You should not really mess with the font size using the editor. The Font and Size options in the editor should be used VERY sparingly, in fact I would strongly prefer removing them entirely or enabling them only for admin users who know to use them only in very specific cases.
