All students are invited to participate in Rider University’s Independent Scholarship & Creative Activities Presentations (ISCAP) Day on Wednesday, May 4, 2011.
Rider University’s Independent Scholarship & Creative Activities Presentations (ISCAP) Day will take place on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, on the Lawrenceville campus. The day gives students the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments by sharing their hard work and creativity with friends, family and the entire Rider community.
All Rider students are invited to present their research or creative projects conducted within a classroom setting, as well as those that are carried out in Independent Study.
Students who are interning, making a film, researching an interesting topic, keeping a photo journal, composing a musical piece, performing an ongoing experiment, or creating a work of art are encouraged to apply. ISCAP allows a forum for students to present their hypotheses, research methods and/or creative process, discoveries and future plans.
To participate, download the form, save it, and e-mail it as an attachment to Dr. Jia Shen at [email protected] by 3 p.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011.
Students and their advisers will be contacted by the organizing committee about the time and place of their presentations by Monday April 18, 2011.
Please feel free to contact any of the URSA/ISCAP Committee members regarding questions about the application process. This year’s URSA/ISCAP Committee includes Dr. Heather Casey, Dr. Brooke Hunter, Dr. Danielle Jacobs (Chair), Hsieh Ma La, Shawn Kildea, Dr. Phillip Lowrey, Dr. Sharon Morrow, Dr. Jerry Rife, Dr. Roberta Fiske-Rusciano and Dr. Jia Shen.
