The Westminster Choir joins a list of choirs and artists performing in the New York Chorus Festival.
The New York Chorus Festival is an international choral charity concert that began in 2012. The purpose of this event is to help the victims of the Eastern Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, and to foster friendship through singing.
2023 Artists include: Ensemble Sakura-Note conducted by Naoto Aizawa, Chor. UTANONE conducted by Masaya Ishiwaka, Hiroshima Nagisa Junior and Senior High School Chorus conducted by Yujiro Nawa, The Westminster Choir conducted by James Jordan, The Ukrainian Chorus Dumka of New York conducted by Vasyl Hrechynsky, The New York Mixed Chorus conducted by Saya Callner, with additional artists to be announced. The Master of Ceremonies is Kaoriko Kuge.
