This program is a moderated panel discussion about the history and importance of American political engagement and activism especially for women, people of color and young voters.
Panelists include gun control and voter participation activist David Hogg, New York Times political analyst Astead Herndon, and Rider University alumna Karla Lopez-Rosa, an immigration rights advocate. Additional panelists to be determined.
Moderators are Tapestry student Aaliyah Shoulders and Professor Adam McMahon.
Scanning of Rider ID cards will be available for those students who can obtain engagement points for attendance.
