UPDATED Remote CCS Office Hours
The College of Continuing Studies (CCS) office is open remotely. We encourage you to contact our office with any questions or concerns through [email protected]. A CCS staff member will respond and assist you promptly. We are scheduling advising appointments.
You may request to meet with an advisor by contacting [email protected] or by reaching your advisor directly. We have scheduled Zoom Drop-In Hours on Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 am to 7 pm and Wednesday through Friday 8:30 am to 5 pm. Send us an email for the Zoom link!
Student Support Resources
Rider University’s commitment to the adult learners encompasses more than 140 years of providing educational programs for working adults. As a CCS student, there is a myriad resources — from tutoring to career planning — that will guide you throughout your journey at Rider, and beyond.
CCS Advisors are available from evaluation to graduation. With day and evening hours, advisors will help with course registration, academic progress, and many other academic issues. Our advisors work with students in person, or over the telephone or via email.
Career Services: Career Development and Success enables Rider University students and alumni to increase career awareness through assessment, research, experiential learning and the development of job search competencies resulting in informed decision-making.
Technology Resources: The Office of Information Technology Help Desk provides students with a single point of contact for all computer-related issues. All students have access to MyRider (a web based system that allows students to register for classes, view and modify (add/drop) their schedules, pay tuition charges, etc.) and Rider Email.
Tutoring: The Student Success Center offers Rider University students free programs and services designed intentionally to maximize student involvement in their own learning and development.
Rider Alert: Timely warning and emergency notifications to students, faculty and staff include the use of RiderAlert, voicemail, email, web postings, and/or signage. RiderAlert is the emergency messaging service Rider uses to reach all students, faculty and staff in the event of a weather-related closing or campus emergency. Calendars and Schedules: Access the course roster, review the academic calendar and learn how to register online through myRider.
Each year, hundreds of CCS students receive scholarships and other forms of financial assistance. As a CCS student, you will benefit from having a designated Financial Aid Counselor, as well as attending the College's workshops on identifying and applying for external scholarships.
