About Shared Read Program

This slideshow is not enabled

Believing the hallmark of an educated person is the ability to engage in reading, understanding, and discussing capacious, complex social issues, the Shared Read program began in 2014 and creates a platform for small and large group discussions focused on those issues. New students receive their free copies of the book at summer orientation. Over the course of the year a range of activities allows multifaceted explorations of the themes raised by the book and opportunities to build community across our university.
