Join the Rider University Writing Project for a continuity meeting and explore methods for teaching writing.
The Rider University Writing Project (RWP) invites educators from pre-k through college to explore ways to teach writing and help students to find their joy in writing. This continuity meeting will include a presentation from author and writing coach, Valeriana Bandeh. Together, we’ll discuss best practices in writing instruction, dissect the anatomy of a story and create stories that come alive.

About Valeriana Bandeh
Valeriana Bandeh has been an educator for over 25 years. She has taught literacy to children from kindergarten to high school and has also coached adult learners. Bandeh specializes in teaching English to speakers of other languages. She is a published author and a storyteller by nature, so she spends lots of time capturing and sharing stories of her childhood and culture. What she loves most is teaching writing and supporting teachers in writing instruction. She sees writing as an opportunity to empower children with a voice. To Val, writing is art and we must rediscover the craft of writing to experience the joy of writing.
