Who do I contact to reserve space?
Faculty and Staff - You need to complete an event request form at http://www.rider.edu/eventrequest. For space on the Lawrenceville campus, you can call Christa Martin, University Scheduler, at 609-896-5326 to see if space is available before submitting your form, especially for frequently requested rooms such as BLC Cavalla, BLC Fireside or SRC Seminar. For space on the Westminster campus, contact Carren Klenke at 609-921-7100 ext. 8308. Students – You need to pick up a Student Event Registration Form from the Office of Campus Life and meet with the Coordinator of Student Programs.
How far in advance do I need to reserve space?
The further in advance of your event that you can reserve the space, the better. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. We recommend at least one-week notice for a meeting, and at least two-week notice for a program. For busier months, especially September and April, please reserve your space as far in advance as possible.
How do I get my event to appear on the online calendar?
Check the appropriate box on your request form. Be sure to include all pertinent information on your request form. Please note this request to appear on the web calendar is subject to review for appropriateness and content.
Who do I contact for help with the setup of my event?
You can contact Brittany Perkins, Coordinator of Auxiliary Services, at ext. 7709.
Who do I contact for food service and catering?
You can contact Aramark Catering at 609-896-5274.
Who do I contact for audio visual needs?
You can contact Rider OIT Media Services at 609-896-5000, ext. 3000, option 4.
Who do I need to contact to use the BLC Theater projection booth?
You can go to the Information Desk on the first floor of the BLC and the staff will assist you.
When do I need to do a facilities work order?
You need to complete a facilities work order for anything that you need for your event in an academic building. You also need to complete a facilities work order for any maintenance related request.
When do I do a room diagram?
You need to complete a diagram form for any space that is not an academic building. This includes the Bart Luedeke Center, Student Recreation Center and outdoor spaces.
What do I do if I need to cancel or change the date/time of my event?
You need to email the Scheduling Office at email@example.com as soon as possible to cancel or change the date/time of your event.
