Thank you for your interest in bringing a group to visit Westminster!

When can my group visit?
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Fridays we invite groups to campus to observe one of our choir rehearsals.

What will my group do on a visit?

  • You will have the opportunity to observe a choral rehearsal for one of the ensembles listed above.
  • We can also arrange for a campus tour as part of the visit.
  • You can request to have a clinic with one of the conductors or other faculty. We require at least three weeks’ notice in planning for a choir rehearsal observation, and six weeks’ notice to arrange a clinic.
  • Depending on the time of year, we can arrange for a reservation for your group to eat in the Dining Commons, which is $9.00 per person. Alternatively, downtown Princeton has a variety of restaurants and eateries.

Rider University Group Tour Agreement

To ensure that all participants receive maximum benefit from their visit to Rider, please read the following expectations and sign below indicating your agreement to them.

Once scheduled, we ask that your group will arrive on time.  We have scheduled staff and arranged facilities to accommodate your visit, so if you are more than fifteen minutes late we may not be able to accommodate your group visit to campus.

Once scheduled, if the size of your group increases or decreases significantly we ask that you will contact us to make us aware of this change.

Once scheduled, if your group has to cancel please do so as soon as possible – preferably two days in advance.

We require a 10:1 student to chaperone ratio. We expect that the chaperones for the group will manage the students and their behaviors.  If coming from a high school, at least one of the chaperones will be a guidance counselor.

We expect that your students have been informed about college selection process and have done research to see that the programs of study we offer interest them.

We expect you and all of our guests, including chaperones, to be polite and respectful of our presenters, tour guides, and the Rider community.

You can expect the admission staff and student tour guides to provide your group with an informative and valuable visit while on campus.
