The Division of Facilities & University Operations is pleased to announce improved printing and mail services to the University in a new partnership with Ricoh USA. The services include Print Center, for all quality print needs, Mail Services, student and campus mail, package pick-ups and smart lockers, and Print Devices, or Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) with print / copy / scan capabilities.

Here’s what you can expect in Phase 1:

  • July:
    • The entire fleet of multifunction print devices (MFDs) on campus will be replaced with new Ricoh MFDs. The Ricoh team will be visiting buildings on campus to ensure specific locations are ready to receive new MFDs.
    • The Print Center will be outfitted with Ricoh Pro C7200 and 8200 printers expanding its capabilities for on campus print and print on demand. That creates savings opportunities for staff and faculty to service all print needs on campus.
  • By August 1:
    • New MFDs will be delivered and placed building by building. Then, technicians will install the devices, configure the software, and test everything working. The delivery and install process for a given print device takes 2-3 days.
  • By September 1:
    • Electronic kiosks will be installed in Mail Services to reduce student waiting times for receiving both letters and packages. We are very excited about this opportunity for the university and we thank you for your patience during this transition.
