Assembly Speaker Oliver: ‘N.J.’s partisan divide is dramatically overstated’

In a February 27 address sponsored by the Rebovich Institute for New Jersey Politics, Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver recalled her political origins, discussed the state’s most pressing issues, and said that the partisan divide is greatly overstated among the state’s voters.

Rider Named a Finalist in CFA Investment Research Challenge

This was the University’s first year to compete in the competition where university-sponsored teams that research and analyze a designated publicly traded company, prepare a written report and then present their findings to a panel of judges.

Making the Right Call

In a recently published child and school psychology book, Dr. Stefan C. Dombrowski joins Rider colleague Dr. Karen L. Gischlar ’03, as well as Dr. Martin Mrazik of the University of Alberta, to present a thorough collection of research on a number of severe, though not frequently seen, psychological disorders in children

Dr. Stefan Dombrowski was the recipient of Rider’s Dominick A. Iorio Faculty Research Prize at Commencement 2011.



Journalism Major Will Go On ‘The Record’ This Summer

Junior Journalism major David Pavlak is one of just five students selected by the New Jersey Press Foundation to receive a competitive paid internship with a newspaper this summer. Pavlak, of Bloomingdale, N.J., will spend eight weeks working for The Record of Woodland Park.
