Holidays at Westminster Tickets on Sale November 1
Tickets for the annual Holidays at Westminster festival go on sale Friday, November 1, at 10 a.m. Described by The Star Ledger as “a ravishing banquet of holiday music,” the festival includes an evening jazz, a concert of holiday favorite performed on the world’s largest range of handbells and the very popular “Evening of Readings and Carols.” Many performances sell out quickly, so early purchase is advised. Tickets are sold online at www.rider.edu/arts, by phone at 609-921-2663 or in person at the box office in the Marion Buckelew Cullen Center on the Westminster Choir College of Rider University campus in Princeton.

Phil Orr and More: Jingle Bell Jazz

Jazz pianist Phil Orr is joined by nationally recognized, multi-genre musicians Michael O’Brien on bass, and Sean Dixon on drums, to perform traditional yule fare such as “Jingle Bells,” “Carol of the Drums,” “All I Want for Christmas is You” plus others in thoughtful reworkings in swing, post-bop, Brazilian, Afro-Latin, New Orleans and even klezmer-infused jazz styles.

An Evening of Readings and Carols
A spectacular evening of holiday music for choir, organ and brass performed in the grandeur of the Princeton University Chapel, featuring Westminster’s choirs, including a choir composed of Westminster Choir College alumni, guest organist Ken Cowan and the renowned Solid Brass.

Westminster Concert Bell Choir: Love Came Down at Christmas
The Westminster Concert Bell Choir, conducted by Kathleen Ebling Shaw, performs original works, transcriptions of light classics and beloved Carols. Ringing on the world’s largest range of handbells and Choirchime® Instruments, the ensemble will help you joyously ring in the holiday season.
