Threatt’s responsibilities include leading the Student Affairs staff and supporting Westminster students
Cindy Threatt has been named associate dean of students for the Westminster Choir College campus. She will be responsible for leading the Student Affairs staff on the Princeton campus and supporting Westminster students, as well as supervising the University Health Center, the Counseling Center, Services for Students with Disabilities and campus Ministry on both campuses.
Threatt arrived at Rider University in 2001 as the director of residence life. In 2008, she was promoted to associate dean for residential programs, a position she has held until the present time.
As associate dean of residential programs, Threatt was responsible for the University’s Residence Hall program and the Office of Community Standards. As a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team, Threatt chairs the Student Affairs Assessment Committee, participates as a member of the Student Welfare Consultation team and serves on many University committees, including the Retention Committee, the University Assessment Committee and, most recently, the Presidential Search Committee. Since October, Threatt has been serving in the capacity of associate dean of students for the Westminster Choir College campus.
Threatt received both her Bachelor of Arts in psychology and her Master of Science in counseling from West Chester University in West Chester, Pa.
