Sinhaeng Lee is a native of South Korea where he attended Yonsei University, Seoul, receiving his bachelor’s degree in church music with an emphasis in choral conducting. Under the tutelage of Dr. Hae Ock Kim, Sinhaeng received a variety of experiences both as a singer and conductor. As a singer and assistant conductor of Yonsei University Concert Choir, he toured Japan, Germany, Spain, and Austria where he conducted the choir. As a music director, he conducted the Yonsei University Men’s Glee Club, Seong-am Methodist Zion Church choir, and served as assistant conductor for Yonsei University Concert Choir. Mr. Lee was also accompanist for the Westminster Summer Choral Festival 2017 and 2018. He just graduated Westminster Choir College with master of music degree in choral conducting. He studied with Dr. Joe Miller, Dr. Amanda Quist, and Dr. James Jordan, and conducted a variety of works with the Master Singers and the Westminster Symphonic Choir, which he was a graduate assistant conductor. He was also a member of world renowned Westminster Choir and Westminster Kantorei.
His 2018-2019 season with Westminster Community Chorus includes a Winter Concert with Cherubini’s Requiem and Spring Concert with community orchestra
