Carolyn Hague is currently Head of Song Interpretation, Konservatorium Wien Privatuniversität. Studies at Stetson University, BM (piano with Lenoir Almand), at the University of Louisville, MM (piano with Lee Luvisi), at the University of Maryland, DMA (piano with Thomas Schumacher, vocal accompaniment from Martin Katz), at the University of of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (with a Fulbright Scholarship; piano with Paul Badura-Skoda, vocal accompaniment with Roman Ortner).
1984-1987 Director of Studies and Opera Chefkorrepetitorin the Belvedere Competition, Vienna Chamber Opera. 1988 Musical Assistant to Sir Charles Mackerras (Decca Records, Delius' A Village Romeo and Juliet "); 1990-1994 accompanist at the International Youth Festival meeting, Bayreuth, 1991-2002 Musical Assistant at the Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival. Recitals with singers such as KS Walter Berry, Angelika Kirchschlager, Birgid Steinberger, Kurt Azesberger, Anna Maria Pammer, Linda Watson. Chamber music concerts with Peter Matzka and René Staar. Various recordings. Appearances in the ORF, WDR (Schubertiade, Cologne), and National Radio Denmark. Educational activities: 1976-1979 University of Louisville (accompaniment for opera and voice training, preparation for class Piano), 1989-2001 University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (Assistant for Lied and Oratorio, class, KS Walter Berry; accompaniment for song and oratorio, Class Robert Holl; Solokorrepetition), since 1998 master classes for German song, various universities, United States.
