Praised by the New York Times for his “Lisztian thunder and deft fluidity,” and the San Francisco Chronicle as “ferociously virtuosic,” pianist Paul Barnes has electrified audiences with his intensely expressive playing and cutting-edge programming.  He has collaborated with composer Philip Glass for more than 20 years. He will perform works by and transcriptions of Glass’s compositions for piano, and he will be joined by Westminster’s Professor Phyllis Alpert Lehrer to perform the composer’s Four Movements for Two Pianos.
