Rider Theatre: Sophocles: These Seven Sicknesses

This slideshow is not enabled

In Sophocles: These Seven Sicknesses, the author’s seven surviving plays – Oedipus, In Trachis, In Colonus, Philoktetes, Ajax, Elektra & Antigone – combine to create a stunning portrait of the human condition, where the intermingling of chance and fate yields disquieting results. A witty and relevant interpretation of the classics, Sophocles: These Seven Sicknesses is an epic examination of the past and a window on the present. Presented in two parts, tickets are required for each part.

Contains strong language and intense violence. For mature audiences only.

Trent Blanton, director
