The Beatles: Ticket to Rider

Rider University's Westminster College of the Arts hosts its first Beatles Conference!  The program will include presentations by tribute artist Alan LeBouf and  Kenneth Womack, author or editor of three books about The Beatles; and "Beatles Go Brass II," a concert with the Princeton Brass Band and Alan LeBouf.

Schedule

 3 – 5 p.m.     
Presentations by Professors Stephen Arthur Allen, Jonathan Millen and "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!: The Evolving Artistry of the Beatles," a multimedia presentation by Kenneth Womack that traces the band’s songwriting practices, recording artistry and musicianship from their early, primitive recordings through Abbey Road followed by a question/answer session.

5 – 6 p.m.      
Dinner Break  (Note: if you plan to purchase dinner in Rider’s Daly’s Dining Hall, please bring $10 cash.)

6-8 p.m.         
Presentation by Alan LeBouf:  “Being Paul: My Career as a Tribute Paul McCartney,"and  “Beatles Go Brass,” a concert by The Princeton Brass Band
