Dr. Asle Toje (Ph.D., Cambridge University) is a Norwegian foreign policy scholar, commentator and prolific writer.  He is a former research director at the Norwegian Nobel Institute and a current member of the five-person Norwegian Nobel Committee, which chooses the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize.
