BOLD Admission Volunteer Opportunities

Rider University Fall Open Houses

Open Houses

Our open houses give alumni volunteers the opportunity to interact with many prospective students and their families right on Rider’s campus! During this event, alumni are present for the welcome by the President and then spend the rest of the day working directly with their former academic department. After chatting with families in the Student Rec Center courts, alumni can make their way over to Daly’s to get some lunch and continue to interact with future Broncs. Get involved by filling out the BOLD Admissions Volunteer Opportunity Form.

Writing and Calling Campaigns

Alumni can work with our prospective students more individually by participating in writing and calling campaigns to our admitted student population. This could include sharing your own experiences as a Bronc as well as giving a little insight about the outcomes of a Rider education. For alumni that cannot physically be present at our on or off-campus events, writing and calling campaigns provide an excellent opportunity to still give back and share what made their Rider experience so special by telling their own stories. They may even see their experiences pop up on our social media or the “Outcomes” website. Get involved by filling out the BOLD Admissions Volunteer Opportunity Form.

Information for newly accepted admitted students

Admitted Student Events

Join us as we host admitted students at a local reception or volunteer to host one of your own! Alumni hosted events can take place at their homes, a restaurant, or a favorite local spot. These events are a great way for alumni to interact with admitted students from their area and build a connection. Get involved by filling out the BOLD Admissions Volunteer Opportunity Form.

Get involved in College Fairs

College Fairs

The Office of Admission receives more invitations to college fairs held at high schools than it is possible to cover with our Admission staff. Alumni can volunteer to attend fairs in their area to represent Rider and talk directly to prospective students and their families. At these events alumni answer questions from prospective students and collect their information to send back to the Office of Admission. Alumni interested in attending college fairs will be connected to the Admission staff member who manages the territory. Get involved by filling out the BOLD Admissions Volunteer Opportunity Form.

Hire a Bronc

No one knows better the power of a Rider education than a Rider alum. To strengthen Rider's alumni network, consider advertising job postings or internship opportunities at your organization through the Office of Career Development and Success at Rider.
