Rider University Footnotes
Ʊ – Students have a number of options to satisfy this requirement; courses will be evaluated on an individual basis.
For transfer credit the Mercer student must have a grade of “C” or higher in all courses for transfer credit. (No transfer credit will be accepted for any course with a grade of “C-“ or below.)
ᴏ- Please note Rider requires only one math course for the B.S. in Allied Health Studies. (CCS)
ᴏ - The curriculum is designed to provide seamless transition from an Associate or diploma program, building on students’ experiences in allied health professions. Separate clinicals are not required.
ᴏ - The Rider degree is 120 credits; the Mercer student may need to take additional credits to meet the Rider University degree.
ᴏ - The Mercer A.A.S. Health Science is specifically designed for individuals who possess a license or certificate in an allied health field.
B- Of the courses listed in “B” at Mercer. Rider suggests the following Mercer courses as options from that list: BIO-101; BIO-102; BIO-208; CHE-101; CHE-102; CHE-107; CHE-201; CMN-112; MAT-125; MAT-126; MAT-135; MAT-140; MAT-146; MAT-200; PBH-101; PHY-101; PHY-102; PHY-109; PHY-111; SPA-101; SPA-102. These courses will transfer as an Elective.
Mercer students attending Rider (CCS) on a full-time basis are eligible to take a FREE Rider Course Option which is to be selected in consultation with Sean Levin, Director of the College of Continuing Studies. This course may be taken following completion of 30 college-level credits at MCCC and prior to matriculation at Rider University on a full-time basis.
