Rider Course Option:
COM-264-Introduction to Media Convergence
Following completion of 30 credits and the Rider Intent to Enroll Form and while a student at Mercer; students have the option to take a course at Rider that counts toward the Rider degree. This allows the Mercer student to experience first-hand the academic environment at Rider.

Mercer County Community College Footnotes
NOTE: Electives should be selected consultation with an academic advisor in order to assure maximum transfer of credits.
1 – Select from Art-121; ART-122; ART-124; ART-125.
2 – Select from ADV-220; ADV-230; DMA-245.
3 – PSY 101 is highly recommended.
4 – Students who plan to transfer to a 4 year college should take ENG-102 and CMN-111 or CMN-112 instead of ENG-112.
5 – MAT-120 & MAT-125 recommended.  Select in consultation with an academic advisor.
Ϯ – HPE-111 is an acceptable alternative.
NOTE: Students must earn minimum grade of C in ADV-101; ADV-201, ADV-202, ADV-210; ART-105; DMA-105 and DMA-145 to graduate.

Rider University Footnotes
Ʊ – Students have a number of options to satisfy this requirement; courses will be evaluated on an individual basis.
Mercer students interested in the College of Continuing Studies (CCS) at Rider should contact that division directly.
For transfer credit the Mercer student must have a grade of “C” or higher in all courses for transfer credit.
