Rider Course Option

Following completion of 30 credits and the Rider Intent to Enroll Form and while a student at Mercer; students have the option to take a course at Rider that counts toward the Rider degree. The selected course counts academically at both Mercer and Rider and allows the student to experience first-hand the academic environment at Rider. See Mercer or Rider Transfer Representatives. For transfer credit the Mercer student must have a grade of “C” or higher in all courses for transfer credit.

*The curriculum is designed to provide a seamless transition from an Associate degree or diploma program, building on students’ experiences in allied health profession. Separate clinicals are not required.
*The Rider degree requires a total 120 credits; the Mercer student may need to take additional credits to meet the Rider University degree.
*The Mercer A.A.S. In Health Science is specifically designed for individuals who possess a license or certificate in an allied health field.
