Following completion of 30 credits and the Rider Intent to Enroll Form and while a student at Brookdale; students have the option to take a course at Rider that counts toward the Rider degree.  See Brookdale or Rider Transfer & Advising Representatives.  Contact information listed below.

Brookdale Sequence Notes:
*POLI 105 or POLI 115 strongly recommended.
(1) One course is recommended from the Cultural & Global Awareness knowledge area.
(2) A minimum of 9 credits are required from the Mathematics, Sciences or Technological Competency categories.
The Transfer Advising Guide is a recommended plan of study.  Additional courses are transferrable as outlined on NJ Transfer for this major with the approval of a Rider University Advisor.

Rider University Footnotes:
Ʊ Students have a number of options to satisfy this requirement; courses will be evaluated on an individual basis.
For transfer credit Brookdale students must have a “C” or higher in all courses.
Criminal Justice students must take 7, 300 + level courses for the Major.  Please note the requirements of 7 courses do not include any course that may transfer into Rider as a 300 level course.
Brookdale students interested in the College of Continuing Studies (CCS) at Rider should contact that division directly.

Rider University requires students to take 7 – 300+ level Criminal Justice courses for the Major.  Please note the requirement of 7 courses does not include any course that may transfer in to Rider as a 300 level course.    

The Brookdale Community College student may transfer up to 60 credits to Rider University.
