Brookdale Community College Footnotes:
1 – BIOL 208 requires a prerequisite of MATH 131 in addition to BIOL 102.  Prerequisites or corequisites: MATH 151 or MAT. 152
2 – One course is recommended from the Cultural & Global Awareness knowledge area.
The Transfer Advising Guide is a recommended plan of study.  Additional courses are transferrable as outlined on NJ Transfer for this major with the approval of a Rider University Advisor.

Rider University
A  Students must earn a Grade of C or better in BIO-115, BIO-116, BIO-117 to meet the major requirements and before enrolling in upper-level courses for which these courses are pre-requisites.
B  Students may repeat any Biology (BIO) or Behavioral Neuroscience (BNS) course once without special permission.  A course will be considered repeated if the student has previously earned a letter grade in the course, or the student has previously Withdrawal II or Withdrawal III. If a student wishes to retake a biology or behavioral science course a third time, written permission must be obtained from the departmental chair before the registrar will tallow the student to enroll in that course.
Ʊ – Students have a number of options to fulfill this requirement; courses will be evaluated on an individual basis.
For transfer credit Brookdale students must have a grade of “C” or higher in all courses.
Brookdale students interested in the College of Continuing Study (CCS) at Rider should contact that division directly.
