Program Highlights

  • Study with:
    • Westminster Choir College Adjunct Assistant Professor Victoria Chow, MM, NCTM
    • Master Teacher Matthew Gutwald from Lakewood Conservatory of Fine Arts (Texas)
    • Technology and Music Pedagogue David Zas from Bridgewater, NJ
  • Special Group Master Class with Professor Ingrid Clarfield, Professor of Piano and Head of Piano Division at Westminster Choir College
  • Supervised coachings and practice sessions
  • Daily lessons, master classes, and ensemble coachings
  • 2020 THEME: Romantic Shopping - I don't always go Chopin, but when I do, I take a Lizst!
  • Classes and lectures on style and interpretation, practice techniques, technique, expression, sight-reading, memorization, music history, composition, theory, stage presence, performance anxiety, Dalcroze
  • Thursday evening recital featuring compositions created during the week
  • Recital on Friday afternoon featuring solo and ensemble music polished during the week
  • Enjoy structured, supervised evening activities, including a movie night, dessert social, and team building games

Daily Schedule

  • Morning: Group classes in YOGA and Composition/Theory classes
  • Afternoon: Solo and Ensemble master classes and coachings, group classes focused on our week theme
  • Evening: Supervised practice sessions on solo and ensemble repertoire. Fun group activities that teach movement, improvisation, composition and accompanying

Tuition

$995 (residential option, includes room and board)
$795 (commuter option, arriving at 8 a.m. and departing at 9 p.m.)

  • Two or more programs - $100 discount off each program

Mrs. Victoria Chow-Torres has both her Bachelors and Master's in Music, Piano. She studied with Ingrid Clarfield for over 6 years where she respectfully graduated Summa Cum Laude and with Distinction. She is recently recognized as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano through Music Teachers National Association.

Mrs. Chow is thrilled to be on faculty as an Adjunct Professor of Piano at her alma mater, Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ.
