Course Information

Recommended Summer Undergraduate Course Load
Students may take two courses (a maximum of 7 credits) in each Summer I or Summer II session (day and/or evening.) Students must have approval from their Dean to exceed the amount of approved credits per session.

Recommended Summer Graduate Course Load
The recommended summer graduate course load is one-half that of a regular semester for each summer session. Please contact your program advisor for more specific information.

Course Requirements and Prerequisites
Students are expected to meet all course requirements and prerequisites. Full information on Rider University’s academic policies, procedures and programs may be found in the Undergraduate, Graduate or Westminster College of the Arts Academic Catalogs, available online at

Course Schedules
Current Rider students MUST print their summer schedule by accessing their course information online at  Schedules will not be mailed to current Rider students. Newly enrolled students will receive a bill and a summer schedule prior to the beginning of each summer session.

NOTE: When reviewing course offerings in the Enhanced Course Roster (ECR), classes offered ONLINE are indicated with section OL. Classes offered through remote and alternative instruction are indicated with section RAI. Courses are subject to change, please check back often.
