Accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), Rider University's College of Business Administration is one of two business schools in the state of New Jersey that holds an additional accreditation for its Accounting program of study. Business Major

Students choose a major program of study (accounting, advertising, business administration, information systems, entrepreneurial studies, finance, human resource management, management and leadership, or marketing ). The Accounting major consists of 24 semester hours; CIS consists of 21 semester hours, and all other majors consist of 18 semester hours. Students can also declare a second major. 24 or 18

Business Electives

Students choose 2 courses in one of the business disciplines. Students pursuing the Accounting major choose 1 course. 6 or 3

Liberal Arts Electives

Students choose 4 courses in Sciences, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
Students pursuing the CIS major must choose 3 liberal arts electives.

Free Elective Courses

Students choose 4 courses.
Students pursuing the Accounting major choose 3 courses.
Students pursuing the CIS major must choose 3 liberal arts electives. Free elective credit hours may be taken in any department within the University.

Students must complete one global business course from the departments of advertising, business, college of buiness administration, economics, finance, management, and marketing.

A candidate for graduation must complete a minimum of 120 acceptable credits and meet the minimum GPA requirements. Students should check the academic catalog for complete program requirements.
