January 2021 Orientation
The Rider University community is looking forward to welcoming you to campus for the spring 2021 semester. In an effort to make your transition to Rider as smooth as possible, we encourage you to participate in our virtual January Orientation.
On January 14th, you will receive an invitation via your Rider email to participate in the Rider University Orientation Canvas course. Please accept this invitation to gain access to everything you need for a successful journey at Rider. The Canvas course contains a variety of videos, presentations and discussion boards to help familiarize you with the many resources and services available. You should view all pertinent information prior to the start of classes on February 1.
On Thursday, January 28th, we will hold a live virtual orientation session from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.. You and your family members are encouraged to register below and join us for any and all of the live sessions as listed below:
- 9 a.m. Welcome to Rider and General Q&A
- 10 a.m. Residence Life
- 11 a.m. Center for Diversity & Inclusion Programs
- 12 p.m. Student Navigation Office
- 1 p.m. Bronc Small Group with Orientation Leaders for Students
- Parent & Family Partnership for Family Members
- 2 p.m. Your Academic Career at Rider- Meet with your College or School
Please contact the Academic Coordinator in your respective Dean’s office, listed below, as soon as possible prior to orientation to complete your spring course schedule. You will have the opportunity to discuss course modalities at this time.
