U.S.-Mexico Border Chords & Discords: Perspectives on the Changing Sonic Ecologies in the American Southwest
Sabine Feisst is Evelyn Smith Professor of Musicology (School of Music), Senior Sustainability Scholar (Global Institute of Sustainability), and Faculty Honors Advisor (Barrett The Honors College) at Arizona State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from the Free University of Berlin and served on the faculty of Bard College and the University of Notre Dame before joining ASU. Her research interests focus on the music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, ecocriticism, acoustic ecology, migration studies, and improvisation. Learn more about Dr. Feisst.
