As the latest snowfall begins to melt away, the Winter Weekend set to take place from Jan. 31-Feb. 2 is heating up with plenty of activities and events to get the campus out and having fun.

Winter Weekend Highlights | Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2014

The Price is Right Game Show
January 31, 2014
8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m., BLC Theater

Be the next contestant and come on down to the BLC Theater as Brandon Feinstein and AJ Kelly host The Price Is Right Game Show presented by the Recreation Programs. Based on the popular TV show, this game is sure to bring a smile to your face as you try to make it all the way to the Showcase Showdown.
For full-time undergraduates only.

Ski/Snowboard Trip to Jack Frost Mountain
February 1, 2014
8:30 a.m. 
Located in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania

Outdoor sports fan are invited to take a trip up the mountain for a day of winter fun. Those interested should sign up at the ticket booth in the SRC.

The ticket booth hours are Monday-Friday from 11-1 p.m. or 3-4:30 p.m. The cost begins at $15 for a lift ticket and bus transportation. Lessons and rentals will be an additional cost.

Unified Sports Basketball League kickoff with the Special Olympics
February 1, 2014
12:00 p.m., Student Recereation Center

This five-week program allows Rider students the opportunity to play with and cheer on members of the Special Olympics in a game of basketball. Anyone who wishes to participate in the league should come to the SRC on Saturday to meet with his or her teammates and prepare for the season.

The R Factor, season three auditions
February 1, 2014
12:00 p.m., Student Recereation Center

The R Factor season three auditions are open to all students to come, watch and cheer on their favorite acts. The competition allows for solo and group acts. Individuals must be Rider students. 
You can register to audition at the Office of Campus Life in the BLC beginning Jan. 27.    

Super Bowl Party
February 1, 2014
5:30 p.m., SRC Lobby

The weekend activities culminate with a Super Bowl viewing party. Stop by for pizza, wings and giveaways as the NFL season comes to a close.
